09:00 Introduction, filling in registers, contents of course, emergency scene management.
Theory on: artificial respiration, (mouth to mouth, mouth to nose, C P R) Unconsciousness hypoxia asphyxia fainting and the primary survey
10:15 to 10:30 tea time
10:30 Practicals: mouth to mouth, mouth to nose, C P R examining of patient and recovery position.
12:30 to 13:15 lunch time
13: 15 Emergency numbers, crowd control, sorting of patients according priorities, choking drowning respiratory problems ( bronchial asthma ) bronchitis.
14:30 to 14:40 tea time
14:40 Heart attack angina - multiple scene management revision
16:00 End of day
Day 2
09:00 Revision stroke epilepsy convulsions
10:15 to 10:30 tea time
10:30 head and spinal injuries concussion compression heat stroke hypo / hyperthermia - ascertaining level of consciousness
12:30 to 13:15 lunch
13:15 burns wounds and bleeding (different types and bandaging) soft tissue injuries management of foreign objects amputations eviscerations stings and bites (snake, spider, scorpion, bee, wasps and dog bites)
14:30 tea break
14:40 shock sprains strains dislocations fractures management of first-aid kit revision
16:00 End of course
Each candidate will be issued with a complete first-aid manual key ring pouch (consisting of mouth piece and gloves) certificate valid for 3 years
