09:00 Introduction – filling in registers – pediatric assessment – theory on infant and child resuscitation C.P.R. unconsciousness – asphyxia – fainting.
10:20 to 10:30 break
10: 30 practical – mouth to mouth – C.P.R. on child and infant – examining of patient – recovery position – choking – drowning – bronchial asthma – bronchitis – fever convulsions – croup – allergies – emergency no.
12:30 to 13:00 lunch
13:00 Poisons (overdose) – stings and bites – ( bee – spider – scorpion – wasps – blue bottle – jellyfish – dog bites – human bites ) wounds and bleeding (different types) – burns – sprains – strains – dislocations – fractures – mumps – measles – meningitis
Management of first-aid kit (household and car kits on sale)
15:00 End of course
On completion each candidate will receive a first-aid manual and a certificate valid for 2 years. This course can be done over 2 days of 3 hours each on a week day / night or weekends at your convenience
